life and times
i know what i believe and have developed informed opinions about many issues that i find important in life. still, when i look at my mother and other baby boomers, i cannot help but wonder whether or not my values, ideas, and beliefs will have completely transformed by the time i am her age. seriously, some of these people have gone from naked, high ass hippies to devoted christian housewives. as for me, in these last four years, i have completed a 180 when it comes to my values and beliefs; i have become an entirely different person. clearly, this has countless implications for my life's evolution in the next thirty years...right?

Kind of. Though i think a lot of young people such as ourselves underestimate the impact age and experience has on our lives, i think it is also true that between 18-22 are some of the most prolific years when it comes to personal growth (especially for college students). While growth or change is inevitable i think its probably safe to say there will never be another 4 year period in your life that will as profoundly affective as the last four. But alas, that isn't always true and there are no absolutes...
